Worth knowing: Cask Bitters & Craft Ale On Tap
Ahh yes...everyone we spoke to said we had to have Harvey's on tap - so here it is in all its glory.
Tailored to the taste buds of the people of Sussex and Kent over many decades, this popular beer is brewed with the finest Maris Otter malted barley and a small percentage of roasted ‘Crystal’ malt. A blend of four different hops from local growers impart a distinctive character and a moreish quality.
Bold zesty Golden Ale refreshment for those balmy summer days. Citrussy hop varieties from the Americas, Antipodes and Europe are interwoven with Pale and Munich malts; a touch of Malted wheat keeps things light allowing the zingy hops to sing.
Copper in colour and Hoppy by nature; Vienna and Premium British Caramalt provide a balanced backbone for the intense tropical fruit aromas.
Medium Bitterness, Medium Sweetness
A beer born out of a conversation between Master Brewers Alan Pugsley of Shipyard Brewing Co. and Simon Yates of Marston’s to craft a classic American style Pale Ale to satisfy the growing thirst of British drinkers for American craft beers.
The beer is dry hopped for greater aroma and flavour with a quartet of four American hop varieties – Chinook, Cascade, Columbus and Centennial delivering a big, bold, brash hoppy beer. Drop anchor for a spell and enjoy.

A premium lager brewed and re-fermented with Champagne yeast for a curiously distinctive, clean and refreshing lager beer. No taste of corporate cardboard. No whiff of market research. Just modern lager beer made to refresh and delight.
This Italian brew is probably the best selling premium lager on sale in the UK. History, great refreshing taste and a lovely glass
Becks Vier is a 4% pilsner lager imported from Bremen in Germany. The unique blend of golden barley, Bavarian hops, pure glacier water and unique yeast gives Becks Vier its clean, crisp, full bodied taste.
